| Yes, I have been wondering if I just dreamed up the Bill of Rights one night lately in my sleep. You know, people have been talking about 1984 a lot more lately then in the past ten years or so...or it seems that way to me...and it is rather disturbing how much there seems to be a push to control all information to all citizens of every nation on the planet...including (and harder for me to bear simply because communication and information allowed for such a thing as the Bill of Rights to begin with) the USA. It doesn't seem to be on the agenda to make any rash moves, but there does seem to be what I'm calling, a "training of the minds" going on. When I hear people saying that we shouldn't know what our government is doing, we should just trust them...it literally makes my blood run cold. I haven't fought in any wars, but I do have great respect and love for those that have fought in wars to sustain the United States and what it stands for. Sometimes there are real threats, and we do need a government, and even a government that has some security secrets, but when we can't tell why we are going to war anymore, or where our tax dollars are going, or why our guys have to sacrifice their lives when they aren't free to be a real patriot anymore at home...well...how do you just trust that their secrets are in your best interest? I certainly can't. We need to put a stop to revolving door conflicts of interest and start with the Defense Dept.. It's just pure insanity to believe that private and public can mingle their interests so intimately with the most massive amount of tax revenue ever filtered through a single body of government any where on earth at any time in history and not expect men to act as men will, judge their own interests generously. | Can a dose of amitriptyline get stuck in the esophagus and cause it to burn? I never drink anything but water, milk and green tea. I eat lots of fruit every day, and I make vegetables when I have the time (once of twice a week... I want more but I have no time). I barely ever eat meat except for fish. I eat black bread and wholegrain, never anything else. I havent eaten fast food in years. Closest thing is sushi.
