Feminists, Do you think it is a rape to have sex with drunk/sleep man ? If sex with sleep/drunk woman is rape then how come feminists do not see the other way around as rape too ?
By the way, erection may come to men while against their wish. That includes both sleeping and waking states. Usually it is the man who move during the sexual intercourse but it is still possible to complete it without this, can someone deny this ? |
I don't consider myself a "feminist" but I do consider it rape when ANYONE has sex with a person who says no or who is unconscious. If a guy is drunk but awake and is consenting that is okay. A drunken adult is responsible for their own actions. If a guy gets plastered and sleeps with some tramp and regrets it later, that is on him. If a woman gets him drunk and forces herself on him against his will or has sex while he is passed out that is 100% rape!
It is also true that a man can have an erection while asleep...but even if he is passed out, if someone is touching him there, it is likely he would wake up. There are also a lot of other ways a person can violate someone that have nothing to do with the penis. Just because a guy doesn't have an erection does not mean he can't be abused in other ways. Regardless of the gender, it is wrong to violate anyone! Rape is rape and it is always wrong! |
Why do you wake up early when you go to sleep drunk? My roomate and I ALWAYS wake up extremely early after going to sleep drunk. We fell asleep at 4:30 ish, and woke up around 8, completely awake! And it happens to me all the time. Why is this? |
| Alcohol interrupts REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. |
Is it really bad to sleep drunk? I have heard, countless times, that it isn't good to drink alcohol at least an hour before you go to sleep. I don't understand the issue with going to sleep while inebriated. |
Alcohol relaxes the muscles, including the muscles in your throat. You will snore more, and louder. If you vomit, and you are on your back, you could panic, and not react properly if you are drunk, resulting in inhaling (aspiration) into the lungs. This could lead to drowning in your own vomit, which is acceptable if you are a rock star, but not for anyone else.

How heavily do drunk people sleep? What is the threshold of abuse sleeping drunk people can take. Sharpie on their face or what? |
Funny question. In my days of passing out drunk before everyone else, I got ***** painted on my forehead and sharpie all over my face. I'm sure there's much more that can be done.
Check out some funny drunk pics on photobucket if you need any wild ideas. |
Is it legal to sleep drunk in your car on private property? I don't know of people who would let me sleep at their place and its too expensive to get a cab from where I am.
I know its dumb question, but I just wanted to know. |
If the private property has no trespassing signs on it and you are not anywhere where the public could conceivably "be invited", you might be okay. Of course, you would need permission from the property owner to stay in your car and that property owner would need to take your keys to prevent you from driving under the influence. It's not a dumb question. What's dumb is that the police actually arrest people for DUI who are asleep in their back seats of their car. The police claim that as long as you have the ability to drive the car and you have the keys in your possession, you can drive under the influence and they have a right to issue you a ticket.
I think that's down right stupid. If you are smart enough to crawl into the back seat and sleep it off, you aren't driving drunk and you are not a threat to anyone. Therefore, the police should leave you alone, but they won't.
If you are walking on a public sidewalk and you are slightly "off balance", the police would arrest you for public drunkeness. If you call your son or daughter who is under 21 to come and get you, the son or daughter can be arrested. Seems to me, no matter how you look at it, you're screwed unless you have a sober adult come to get you. Wouldn't it be better if the police gave you and other drunks a ride home to keep them safe instead of giving tickets? Maybe we should have Friday and Saturday night drunk buses wherein for the cost of a drink the drunks can board the bus and be transported to their homes safely. |
What happens when you get drunk, but dont sleep afterwards. When does the hangover kick in? So if you got drunk but then you didnt go to sleep that night, how does that hangover work? Do you get one? If so, what time would it kick in? What if you were smoking weed after drinking?
-Curious Girl |
| much sooner than if you slept, depends how much you drank but usually a few hours after you stop drinking. you are still drunk but agitation, dehydration, headache and such start pretty quickly ....and for me smoking weed only makes it worse when the paranoia starts to set in .... |
Why doesnt he want me to be drunk when we sleep together? I thought guys will have sex with any girl, so how come when I say that if we ever do it, that I want a drink first he says he doesnt sleep with drunk girls? and sometimes i hanged out with him and very drunk and he didnt try to take advantage. does that mean he really likes me or is it something else? |
It means,
that he has respect for himself and knows that by sleeping with a drunk woman he is not only degrading her but he would be degrading himself as well
he has morals unfortunately that is a rarity in this day and age |
Is it cheating if you have a party get drunk & sleep with your wife's identical twin sister? If you thought it was your wife is it still cheating & is it ok to do it again if the same mistake happens? |
| identical twins? I'd say it's an honest mistake, no matter how many times it happens! |
Is it wrong to sleep with girls when they are drunk? I mean what if the guy was tipsy as well, but they both wanted it. Does it make it bad to sleep with a drunk girl? After all sex is sex, whether it be drunk or sober sex right? |
| It can be rape if the woman is drunk. Drunk women are presumed to be incapable of consenting to intercourse. Back off, bubba. The cops will arrest upon almost any complaint by the woman ( or her parents if she is a minor!) and it won't matter if you are ever convicted or not; your life will be a nightmare. |
Is it legal to sleep in your car whilst DRUNK? Is it legal to sleep in your parked car whilst DRUNK?
Simply just sleeping in the seat, no driving involved!!
(Only interested about this law in AUSTRALIA, WA if u want to be precise) |
I'm in NSW and a lawyer and No you can't be charged for that. Heaps of people don't have anywhere else to sleep for the night and sleep it off in the back of their car (or in the back of their ute - take a mattress!) In NSW we have "attempt to drive whilst under influence" but the prosecutor has to prove that whilst sitting in the drivers seat you attempted to put the vehicle in motion. This would mean you started the engine. So even if you started the engine and then thought you better not drive - you can be busted. But if you simply leave your keys in your pocket and don't even reach for them, you'll be fine and have done nothing wrong.
Be careful the next morning though when you could still be over the limit.
In WA it looks like section 63 and 64 of the Road Traffic Act 1974 www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/wa/co…
regulates this. |
